Fire hose reels are located at strategic places in buildings to provide a reasonably accessible and controlled supply of water for fire extinguishing. Fire hose reel systems consist of pumps, pipes, water supply and hose reels located strategically in a building, ensuring proper coverage of water to combat a fire. The system is manually operated and activated by opening a valve enabling the water to flow into the hose
Hose Reel System
Wet risers are installed in high rise buildings, to provide a readily available and reliable supply of water for firefighting purposes. Wet riser systems consist of pumps, pipework, landing valves and water storage tanks located strategically throughout a building, ensuring adequate water pressure and coverage to combat a fire. The system is permanently charged with water and is mainly operated by firefighters by connecting fire hoses to landing valves on each floor.

A fire sprinkler system is an active fire protection method, consisting of a water supply system, providing adequate pressure and flowrate to a water distribution piping system, onto which fire sprinklers are connected.
Sprinkler System
Fire hydrants are installed externally around buildings or along roadways to provide an accessible and continuous supply of water for firefighting activities. Fire hydrant systems consist of pipe networks connected to a reliable water source, with hydrant outlets positioned at strategic locations to ensure sufficient coverage. The system is manually operated by firefighters who connect hoses directly to the hydrant outlets to deliver water for fire suppression.
Fire Hydrant System
A fire alarm system warns people when smoke, fire, carbon monoxide or other fire-related emergencies are detected. These alarms may be activated automatically from smoke detectors, and heat detectors or may also be activated via manual fire alarm activation devices such as manual call points or pull stations.
Fire Alarm System
Fire suppression systems are installed in buildings or protected areas to automatically detect, control and extinguish fires at an early stage. Fire suppression systems consist of detection devices, control panels, discharge piping and suppression agents such as water, gas, foam or chemical agents, installed strategically to protect specific hazards or spaces. The system may operate automatically upon fire detection or manually through activation controls, releasing the suppression agent to control or extinguish the fire.
